Illustration and Play
Description:
This illustration class will lead students away from what and how they usually draw to explore new techniques and approaches to image generation. Students will get to play around with mark making, color, and a variety of materials like watercolor pencils, while being prompted to delve further into their imagination. Sanya Glisic will talk about her work as an illustrator and push students to break old habits, and find that sweet spot between exploration of ideas and refinement of mark-making.
