Nessie
Nessie became fascinated with the idea of creating multiples of an image during a high school stenciling obsession. She has worked out of various print studios, and originally studied more traditional printmaking. It wasn’t until she attended Columbia College Chicago that she learned about screen printing and worked as an assistant at the student print lab. Her interest in this process was furthered while working with local pop artist Peter Mars. After receiving a BFA in 2009, Spudnik Press gave her a chance to intern, continue her education and practices, and help others to create their projects.
