DESCRIPTION:This October\, Drink & Draw explores character creation. Alongside this month’s guest artists\, learn two unique approaches to developing imaginative characters for your next puppet play or comic book. \nGuest Artist: Micael Nuñez\nMicael uses the natural world as a starting point to invent and design whimsical characters and visual narratives. While her characters are often haunting but cute humanoid-plant forms\, you can implement her guidance  for your own style or genre of drawing. During this illustration-focused Drink & Draw\, Micael will be sharing her unique process for developing these fantastical characters. Using basic drawing materials as well as red and blue colored pencils\, participants can invent their own character that could thrive in an ocean\, a forest\, a garden\, or any setting that one desires.  \nThis creative session is great for all experience levels\, and might be especially helpful for those interested in comics\, zines\, and design.
