This event is free and open to the public; donations to SUBlvl are welcome. Come by the studio and meet this vibrant community of local emerging artists. \nEvent Highlights: \n\nDate: May 26\, 2024 (Sunday)\nTime: 6-10PM\nGallery and Activities: The Annex at Spudnik Press\nTreats and Onsite DJ: The Printshop at Spudnik Press\n\nRSVP here \nAbout the Event: \nRCHVL is a community zine archive produce by SUBlvl in partnership with Spudnik Press and a cohort of Chicago designers\, artists\, and writers. This event marks the launch of their second series\, “World View.” Using zine as a medium\, featured artists tell about their lived experiences\, upbringing\, and memories have impacted their understanding of the world around them. \nThis series features work by Wuraola Adeniji\, Celine Alonzo\, Iicky Belmontes\, Trevon Coffee\, Chris Lee\, Samm Lee\, Nneoma Ohale\, Daniel Ponce\, Makafui Searcy\, Malik Sims\, and Messejah Washington. \nThere will be goodies available for purchase provided by Chunky’s Treats and tunes courtesy of Dondarii. \nAbout the Organization: \nSUBlvl is a collective that aims to amplify the voices of minority creatives and world thinkers through meaningful collaboration and creative direction. This is a safe space for all bodies where no story goes untold\, no voices go unheard\, and everyone gets their flowers. \nThis event is free and open to the public.
