SUMMARY:Drink & Draw: February 2016–Memory & Magic Through Comics
DESCRIPTION:With the guidance of teaching artist and graphic novelist Leila Abdelrazaq\, participants will use personal stories and memory as a jumping off point to create their own short\, surreal mini comics from another world! \nAdmission to Drink & Draw is a $10 suggested donation. The event is BYOB\, but we are happy to share our wine and beer for a small donation. \nLove comics and graphic novels? Check out our upcoming 8-week comics class Saturday Morning Comics Club with Leila Abdelrazaq. \nDrink and Draw is a low-key drop-in social workshop devoted to drawing practices. There are no pretensions\, no prerequisites\, and newcomers are always welcome. Bring a sketchbook and basic drawing materials\, and invite your friends! Drink & Draw occurs the first Wednesday of every other month and features a special theme and a guest artist.
