SUMMARY:Papermaking with Switch Grass Paper
DESCRIPTION:Join Switch Grass Paper at Spudnik Press for their very own Papermaking fundraiser-workshop on August 27\, 2023! \nFrom 1:30-3:30pm\, students will learn basic paper-making skills and make paper with prairie grasses and blue jeans. The instructors will also talk about identifying local plants that can be foraged for paper. Each participant will receive paper to take home and light snacks + refreshments will be offered. \nSwitch Grass Paper is a papermaking project founded by Chicago artists Aya Nakamura and Megan Diddie. This project aims to create opportunities for those interested in exploring pulp and paper arts.
