Making your own Valentines card is a perfect foray into letterpress printing. Spend a Sunday afternoon in the Spudnik Press Printshop learning about printing history and miscellany. Each attendee will work with their own short saying, select a typeface, and learn how to hand set lead type, transfer to a press, and print. Students print 20 unique valentines and are encouraged to swap cards with their classmates to bring home a DIY variety pack of cards.
