Ruby LaPorta
Ruby is an illustrator, filmmaker, printmaker, sculptor, writer, and musician. She often makes work that addresses themes of childhood, influence, multiplicities of being (and specifically the discrepancy between physical being and mental being), the mundane, and excess.
She was born and raised in Chicago and is currently studying at the School of the Art Institute.
