Jamie Weaver
Teaching Artist
Jamie Weaver is a writer and book artist based in Chicago. She received her MA in English Composition and Rhetoric from Marshall University and her MFA in Interdisciplinary Arts from Columbia College Chicago. In 2014, she was awarded a Fulbright grant to teach academic and creative writing at the University of Bucharest in Romania, where she also taught community bookbinding workshops for both children and adults. Her writing has appeared in The Found Poetry Review and JAB (The Journal of Artists’ Books) and her artist books are part of several library permanent collections in the US and abroad. Weaver currently teaches writing and arts courses at SAE Institute of Chicago.
