Drink & Draw [VIRTUAL]: Survivalist Bookmaking

Who says you need fancy tools to make awesome books? Not Lisa Armstrong, our Survivalist Bookbinding guest artist! In this virtual workshop, Lisa will teach you how to McGyver your own recycled notebook with whatever you have lying around. This is a perfect chance to repurpose your print scraps, grocery lists, old calendars, rejection letters, goofy sketches, etc. into a totally one-of-a-kind book! Prime it with creative prompts for a sweet little journal or sketchbook, to keep yourself entertained or mail to friends and family!

Drink & Draw [Virtual] is a low-key drop-in social workshop devoted to staying creative from home. There are no pretensions and newcomers are always welcome, so invite your friends to join! Each Drink & Draw [Virtual] features a new guest artist and a new theme or project that uses pencil, paper, and everyday household supplies. Don’t have a sketchbook? Hosts will help you improvise. Events are currently scheduled each Wednesday through May 6. Find us on Zoom, a free app for your phone or computer. And of course: BYOB!
