Furniture Press Books’ 10th Anniversary American Poetry Tour

Furniture Press Books is celebrating 10 years of innovative publishing with a 12 city American tour. The crew will be reading from their collections in galleries, bars, universities, bookstores and living rooms, with a big send off in Baltimore at Peabody Heights Brewery, which will include musicians, comedians and dancers plus a small press book fair—all free to the public. The mission of the tour is very simple: introduce a wider audience to the diversity of the press’ poetics while collaborating with local poets to create an ever-expanding community of emergent presses, curators and creative human beings. Because our writers are spread out all over the country, it is only fitting for us to bring our world to theirs.
