Spudnik Press Cooperative welcomes Chris Fritton, The Itinerant Printer to guest print at our studio and break in our most recent press addition: our motorized 9×12 Chandler & Price!

Maybe you love letterpress and are ready to kick your production into high-speed. Maybe you are letterpress curious and would relish the opportunity to drop by and see what Open Studio is all about. Maybe you love the Spudnik community and want to come by for a high five and a beer. We welcome all to swing by the studio, meet Chris Fritton, and take home the first print produced with our new beast of a press!

This event is completely FREE and open to the public! Feel free to invite all your friends and cohorts as well.

Chris Fritton has been on tour visiting letterpress print shops across the country since January 2015, and to date he’s logged more than 100 shops, 50,000 miles and over 15,000 prints. Come hear the stories, see what he’s been working on while in the Midwest, and pick up a print or poster from the journey to take home!
