February 29 | Experimental Zinemaking (6 Weeks)

The shapes and forms of books can be as wildly varied as their contents. A few simple concepts like folding, sewing, and gluing can be combined and stretched and iterated upon to make something wholly new but still recognizably “a book.”

Over 6 weeks, students will not only learn how to bind classic and experimental bookforms, but also how to use the Risograph to print the content of their books quickly and stylishly.

No experience is needed in either Risography or bookbinding, simply a creative spirit and a readiness to experiment.

Refund Policy

PAYMENT POLICY: All classes require full payment. Payment in 2 installments may be requested by sending an email to info@spudnikpress.org.

For cancellations made at least one week prior to the first class, we can refund 50% of the full tuition, or give 100% studio credit to be used within the next 6 months. For cancellations made with less than one weeks notice, we can only give studio credit to be used within the next 6 months. No refund is available if students cancel within 48 hours of the class, workshop or lesson.
